- Print at 100% / actual size on plain paper. The pages are US Letter and print fine on A4.
- Choose single-sided printing so markers don't bleed through onto the next picture.
Heavier paper (cardstock) holds up better to markers and paint. Plain printer paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils.
Coloring ideas
- Nobody knows exactly what color dinosaurs were, so any color is the right one. Purple stegosaurus? Go for it.
- Fill the stegosaurus's round plates with patterns: dots, stripes, zigzags.
- Say the names together: ste-go-SAUR-us, tri-CER-a-tops. Kids love the big words.
