How to print
- Download the PDF with the button above.
- Print at 100% / actual size on plain paper. The pages are US Letter and print fine on A4.
- Choose single-sided printing so markers don't bleed through onto the next picture.
Heavier paper (cardstock) holds up better to markers and paint. Plain printer paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils.
Coloring ideas
- Color the puppy or kitten to look like a pet you know: your own, a grandparent's or a neighbour's.
- Give each pet a name and write it under the picture (or let your child tell you, and you write it).
- Talk about what each pet needs: food, water, a cozy bed and lots of love.
